Square footage by itself means little. A building can be large and still useless for a forty foot coach if the doors are short, the bays are shallow, or the booth was built for sedans. What matters is how the floor is divided and whether a long unit can move through the sequence without being shuffled outside between stages. This building was laid out around that constraint: a vehicle comes in one end, moves through structural, refinish, systems, and interior, and exits through the delivery lane.
Function areas are separated for reasons that have nothing to do with tidiness. Sanding dust ruins a fresh clear coat, so refinish sits apart from body work with its own air handling. Resin chemistry needs a stable temperature, so lamination has a controlled room rather than a corner of the shop. Electrical troubleshooting needs quiet and a proper bench, not a technician crouched in a bay with a meter balanced on a tire. Each of those separations came from a problem that happened first.
Access matters as much as interior space when the customer is towing. Owners arriving from Eastvale come down SR-71 and take SR-91 west, exiting near Weir Canyon Road, and reach La Palma Avenue without threading a residential street with a fifty foot combination behind them. The property has a gate wide enough for a long turn, paved room to stage arriving units, and fenced storage so a vehicle waiting on parts is not sitting on a public street overnight. The largest share of the floor belongs to repair bays, sized so a coach can sit with its slides extended and still leave working room on both sides. Bays are equipped for both body and structural work, which keeps a vehicle in place while different departments come to it.
The remaining space is allocated by function rather than by department headcount. Refinish takes the second largest share because a booth plus a prep deck plus mixing and storage consumes real area. Lamination, the systems bench, and the interior shop each occupy dedicated rooms. Parts staging sits between receiving and the bays so a delivered cap or window is not carried across the building. Circulation aisles are wide enough that a unit under repair never blocks the path of a unit heading to the booth.

Booth, prep deck, and the measuring area
The booth is the piece most owners ask about. It is long enough to take a coach past forty feet with the doors closed, which matters because a partial booth means masking the vehicle in halves and living with a transition line. Airflow is downdraft, filtered, and heated for bake cycles, so cure times are predictable instead of dependent on the weather outside. The adjacent prep deck lets one unit be sanded, masked, and primed while another is in the booth, which keeps refinish from becoming the bottleneck.
The measuring and pulling area handles the work that decides whether everything downstream lines up. Reference points are measured against factory specification, damage is pulled in controlled stages, and the vehicle is re-measured between pulls rather than only at the end. The area is set up for both chassis rails on a motorhome or truck and unibody structure on a van, which are different problems requiring different anchoring. Nothing goes to refinish until the measurements read within tolerance, because paint applied over a structure still out of square is money spent twice.
Lamination room, systems bench, and interior shop
The lamination room is held at a controlled temperature because resin does not care about a repair schedule. Too warm and the mix kicks before it is laid out properly; too cool and the cure drags or never fully hardens. Holding the room steady means a laminate schedule can be planned in hours rather than guessed at. The space handles gel coat repair, panel section replacement, delamination correction with injected adhesive, and full skin work, with vacuum and clamping setups sized for large panels rather than boat hatches.
The systems bench exists so electrical work stops being a scavenger hunt. Twelve volt and one hundred twenty volt circuits are tested there under load with proper instruments: clamp meters, insulation testers, a variable supply, and a shore power simulator. Inverters, converters, transfer switches, and generator controls are exercised on the bench before reinstallation rather than after. Plumbing components get pressure tested the same way. Removing the component from the vehicle and proving it on a bench is slower on paper and faster in practice than chasing symptoms in a wall cavity.
The interior and cabinet shop covers the parts of a repair an owner touches every day. Face frames and doors are built to match existing profiles, since a cabinet that is technically correct but visibly different reads as a repair forever. Flooring is replaced back to a sound subfloor rather than patched over a soft spot. Upholstery and wall panel work happens here too, along with countertop fabrication. Templates from the original components are kept until delivery so a second attempt does not start from measurements taken twice.
Water test bay, storage, and arriving with a long unit
The wash and water test bay is plumbed for sustained, directed spray rather than a rinse. Any unit that had a seam, roof penetration, window, or sidewall opened is tested there before it can move to the delivery lane. Test duration is set long enough to reveal a slow migration path, since a leak that takes ten minutes to appear is the one that ruins a floor over a season. The bay drains to a proper interceptor, which is also why the hazmat and disposal charge exists.
Secured storage is fenced and inside the property line. A vehicle waiting on a molded cap for three weeks needs somewhere to sit that is not a public street and not an unlit lot. Units in storage are moved as little as possible, and anything with an opening created during teardown is covered and sealed against weather before it goes out there. Owners are told at authorization whether their unit will spend part of the job in storage, so the schedule is understood rather than assumed.
Arrival logistics are worth planning if the unit is long. Weekday mornings are easiest, since the yard is emptiest before the first booth cycle. Saturday hours run from 9:30 AM to 3:00 PM and work well for owners who cannot leave Eastvale during the week. Anyone towing should plan the SR-91 leg around peak traffic, and Green River Road is the usual surface alternate when the corridor is stacked.
