Before you send it
01What happens after I send this?
The estimating desk reads it during shop hours and replies, usually the same business day. If the description is enough to place the job in a price band, that band comes back with the reply. If it is not, the reply asks for the two or three specifics that would settle it, which is normally where the damage sits on the unit and whether a claim is open.
02Do I need photos to get a useful answer?
They help enormously and they are not required to start. A wide shot showing the damage in context and two close shots at different angles will usually move a conversation further than three paragraphs of description. Send them by reply once the desk responds rather than trying to attach them here.
03Is the collision estimate charged?
Collision estimates are complimentary and insurance walk-ins are welcome. Estimates on RV systems, meaning slides, awnings, water, electrical and generators, are $150 and that amount is applied as a credit against an authorized repair. In depth diagnostic time bills at the posted diagnostic rate with a one hour minimum, also credited.
04Can you look at it where it is parked?
No. All work and all inspection happen in shop at the Yorba Linda facility. The equipment that makes an honest assessment possible, meaning lifts, fixtures, moisture detection and controlled light, does not travel. A driveway assessment would be a guess dressed up as an estimate.
05How far is the shop from Eastvale?
About about 20 miles. Most owners run SR-71 south to SR-91 west, then Weir Canyon Road, or Green River Road when the 91 is heavy, which is roughly 25 to 35 minutes outside of peak traffic. Anything towed usually comes off I-15 at Limonite Avenue and picks up SR-91 west from there.
