Disclosures

This disclosures page states the commercial facts behind everything published on the OCRV Center site: pricing is an estimate band subject to inspection, carrier and manufacturer names are descriptive rather than affiliations, service area language describes where customers travel from, and certain work is not performed here.

A marketing site can create impressions it never intended. A price range starts to read like a quote. An insurance carrier logo starts to read like a partnership. A city name in a page title starts to read like a branch office. This page exists to close those gaps in plain language, so a reader knows exactly what the rest of the site is claiming and, more usefully, what it is not claiming.

None of what follows is fine print meant to be skimmed. Each item below has cost somebody money or time somewhere, which is why it is written down. A customer who reads this page before calling will have a more productive conversation with the estimating desk, because the two sides will already agree on what a published number is worth and what still has to be discovered by putting hands on the vehicle.

Pricing Disclosure

Every dollar figure published on this site is an estimate band. A band is a range that covers the way a job of that description usually lands, from a light version to a heavy version. It is not a quote for any particular vehicle. Three things move a real number away from a published band: what an inspection finds, what teardown uncovers once panels come off, and what the required parts actually cost and how long they take to arrive.

Teardown deserves particular emphasis on a recreational vehicle. Water intrusion travels. A stain the size of a hand on an interior wall can sit above framing that has been soft for years. The band published for a sidewall repair assumes the structure behind the skin is sound. When it is not, the scope grows, the shop writes a supplement, and no additional work proceeds until the customer authorizes it in writing. That sequence is the same on a self pay job and an insurance job.

How a Ticket Is Actually Built

A repair order is labor hours multiplied by a posted rate, plus parts at a disclosed markup, plus materials, plus tax on the taxable portion. Posted labor rates are $210 per hour for body and paint, $260 per hour for mechanical and electrical, $285 per hour for diagnostics, and $95 per hour for detail. Those rates are the same for every customer and are posted at the counter as well as published here.

Parts carry a 100 percent markup at or under $100 and a 35 percent markup above $100. Sales tax of 7.75 percent applies to parts and materials. Labor is not taxed. Deposits follow a posted schedule: 50 percent at authorization on any job above $2,000, an additional 25 percent when parts arrive on any job above $10,000, and the balance at pickup. Card payments above $1,000 carry a 3.5 percent surcharge that passes through the merchant fee. Special order parts require a 100 percent non refundable deposit when the order is placed.

Estimate charges are disclosed the same way. A collision estimate is complimentary. An RV systems estimate is $150, credited against the repair if the work is authorized. In depth diagnostics bill a one hour minimum at $285 per hour, also credited against an authorized repair. Charging for diagnostic time is deliberate. It buys real technician hours on a scan tool or a meter instead of a guess, and the customer keeps the value if the work proceeds.

Insurance Carriers Named on This Site

OCRV Center is an independent shop. Pages on this site name insurance carriers because customers arrive with claims through those carriers and want to know whether the shop has handled the process that carrier uses. Naming a carrier means exactly one thing: experience writing estimates, negotiating supplements, and documenting work in the way that carrier expects. It does not mean affiliation. It does not mean endorsement, sponsorship, certification, or a direct repair program agreement of any kind.

Independence has a practical consequence worth understanding. A shop inside a carrier program answers partly to that carrier. This shop answers to the customer who owns the vehicle. When a carrier estimate misses operations the vehicle genuinely needs, the shop documents the gap and pushes for a supplement rather than cutting the repair to fit the number. That position occasionally slows a claim. It also means the repair plan reflects the vehicle rather than the first number an adjuster wrote.

Content on this site about claims, coverage, deductibles, or total loss thresholds is general information written by a repair shop. It is not legal advice, insurance advice, or financial advice. Policy language varies by carrier and by policy. A reader with a coverage question should put that question to their own carrier or to their own counsel and rely on the answer they get there, not on a paragraph written for a general audience.

Manufacturer and Brand Names

Coach builders, chassis makers, appliance brands, and component manufacturers appear throughout this site. They appear because a reader searching for help with a specific coach needs to know the shop has seen one. Every one of those names belongs to its owner and is used descriptively under ordinary fair use. Their appearance here does not indicate certification by that manufacturer, authorization to perform work on its behalf, membership in a dealer network, or any commercial relationship at all.

This distinction matters for coverage on a newer unit. Work performed by an independent shop can interact with what a manufacturer stands behind on a component, and the rules differ by builder and by component. A customer with a newer coach should confirm with the selling dealer or the manufacturer before authorizing work, and the shop will happily wait while that call is made. Nobody benefits from a repair that creates a coverage argument later.

Service Area and Where the Work Happens

OCRV Center operates one facility, on La Palma Avenue in Yorba Linda. When this site says it serves Eastvale, that describes where customers travel from, not where the shop sits. Eastvale is in Riverside County. The shop is not located there, does not maintain an office there, and does not have a satellite bay there. Anyone reading a page about Eastvale service should picture the drive, roughly twenty miles depending on the route and the hour, ending at the Yorba Linda facility.

All work is performed in shop. The shop does not dispatch technicians to a campground, a yard, or a customer address, and no repair is carried out anywhere other than the Yorba Linda facility. Body and structural repair requires a level bay, a controlled paint environment, lifting equipment, and power that a driveway cannot supply. A vehicle that cannot be driven in needs to be towed in, and the estimating desk can talk through how that usually gets arranged.

Work the Shop Does Not Perform

A clear list of what the shop does not do saves everyone a phone call. OCRV Center does not perform engine rebuilds. It does not perform transmission rebuilds. It does not perform drivetrain work such as differential or axle overhaul. It does not perform inspections required by transport regulators. It does not perform emission testing. Those categories go to a heavy truck shop, a drivetrain specialist, or a licensed testing station, and the estimating desk will say so plainly.

What the shop does cover is body, structure, paint, fiberglass, and the systems that live inside a coach: twelve volt and shore power electrical, generators, appliances, slide mechanisms, awnings, roofs, and interiors. Mechanical and electrical diagnosis is performed on those systems. A job that starts in one category and turns out to belong in another gets handed back with a straight explanation rather than attempted at the expense of the customer. Sending a job away costs the shop a ticket and keeps a customer out of trouble.

  • Engine rebuilds and internal engine machine work.
  • Transmission rebuilds and internal transmission repair.
  • Drivetrain work including differential and axle overhaul.
  • Inspections required by transport regulators.
  • Emission testing of any kind is not offered here.

Reviews, Testimonials, and Advice

Customer comments quoted on this site are real and unedited except for length. They describe the experience of one person with one vehicle and one repair. They are not a prediction of what any other repair will cost, how long it will take, or how it will turn out. A coach with hail damage across the roof and a coach with a cracked front cap have nothing in common except an owner who needs a bay, so the outcome for one owner says little about the next.

Testimonials on this site are attributed by initials and a city rather than by full name. That is a privacy choice. A customer who brought in a damaged coach should not have their name and vehicle description indexed by search engines for the rest of time because they wrote a kind sentence. No numeric score and no aggregate rating are published anywhere on this site, and no comment is paid for, traded for a discount, or written by staff.
